KCPhotography

Aimee D. E. Photographer

The title of my business - as it were - is dedicated to the best cat ever, KC. She inspired my creativity, and I will miss her dearly. 17 years young, born approx. June 1990, died Christmas Day, 2007.

My style of photography is such that I like to focus on the details. While I enjoy doing portraits, I find my real knack is for architectural and landscape photographs. And as such, I find the details in portraits to be very fascinating, and fun to do. I love to find what it is the subject of my photograph (whether it be a person, building, or nature itself) is really about, and then focus on that attribute.
I think I like the pictures that appear more candid also, because then they feel more real. Yes, you will get "fake smiles" in some pictures, which is why when I want you to smile, I will do what I can to get a real smile, and not just a pity smile. The real stuff makes your picture come out better, anyway!

I am offernig my talent (on loan from God) to those that are in the Lubbock area currently. I am willing to travel, but it may not be a possibility at this time. Any traveling I do would have to be day trips only, so nothing over-night either. I am also only doing this part-time on the days I do not work at my part-time retail job, so I will need at least 2 weeks advanced notice of any and all sessions so I can coordinate with my other job.

Head on over to the "Pricing" page and pick your package! Or, if you have any questions, jump over to the "Contact Me" page and drop me a line.
